• If you go down in the woods today…

Have just come across this blog by a school in the North of England who are getting out and enjoying the outdoors! They visit a woodland area of their local park on a weekly basis and the blog documents what the children learn, see and feel. It’s great that they have got everyone involved so they can get out of the classroom on a regular basis as it is important for children to experience learning outside of the classroom. It’s great to see examples of children solving problems, experiencing nature and getting muddy! I’m sure when the children go home at the end of the day it is all they talk about and something they remember for ages. Such a superb way for young people learn, let’s hope other schools are inspired!
